In the article, the legal relations concerning the introduction of medical insurance in Uzbekistan are analyzed based on national legislation and the views of scientists who have studied this contract. The legal mechanisms of introduction of medical insurance as the main direction in the provision of qualified medical services are highlighted, as well as views on the introduction of mandatory insurance are stated based on these analyses. Based on the analysis of the problems regarding the introduction of compulsory insurance in Uzbekistan, conclusions and recommendations were put forward.
