The article is devoted to analyzing the influence of family and social environment on the formation of the youth political culture in Uzbekistan. The problems of socialization of youth, methods of solving them, as well as current trends in the development of youth political culture, including the influence of the media, the Internet, and social networks, are explored. There has been a sharp increase in the political consciousness of young people, which is outpacing the development of official political culture, which complicates its integration into government practice. The authors emphasize the need to develop specific programs that adequately respond to the growing needs of young people.
