The article examines the directions and mechanisms for improving legislation in Uzbekistan within the framework of the strategic document "Uzbekistan – 2030". It highlights the main aspects of legal policy related to the development and discussion of legal acts, which are classified according to the priority directions of the strategy. The importance of the participation of the scientific community and the public in the legislative process is discussed, and specific examples of upcoming changes in legislation are provided, including the protection of children's rights and the improvement of engineering education.
