The article explores the historical and contemporary aspects of the relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, highlighting their longstanding interactions starting from shared history and cultural connections between the peoples. It describes the evolution of diplomatic and strategic ties post-independence, including the signing of numerous bilateral agreements. The focus is on recent efforts to deepen cooperation through treaties on strategic partnership and strengthening eternal friendship. The influence of these relations on regional policy and economic collaboration is also discussed.
