This article is devoted to the problems that students face when learning Japanese, especially when developing skills in working with text. The article describes the process of working with text, as well as strategies and common mistakes that arise in this process. The relevance of the article is due to the need to properly organize this process, eliminate emerging problems, which ultimately contributes to the development of students' reading skills.
