Features of the dimensional-phonon absorption of light in cylindrical wires

Annotatsiya

The theory of the shape of the line of size-phonon absorption of light in a size-quantized cylindrical semiconductor wire is developed. It is shown that the size-phonon absorption contains a square logarithmic singularity. The frequency dependences of the size-phonon absorption are obtained, when the transition between the levels is accompanied by the emission of an optical phonon. The spectra of the electron-phonon system are determined in the case of resonance coupling between neighboring levels.
