This article shows the history of the emergence and development of state statistics and also reveals issues of studying the history of the formation and activities of the statistical service in Uzbekistan. Despite the different periods, state statistics not only solve the current problems of meeting the information needs of society but also work on a set of problems to adapt it to a market economy.
