Ushbu maqolada ekologik madaniyatning qishloq turizmining barqaror rivojlanishiga taʼsir etuvchi omil sifatidagi oʻrni Buxoro viloyatining oltita turizm qishlogʻi — Shirin, Qasri Orifon, Ushot, Oʻba, Xoʻja Orif va Afshona misolida tadqiq etilgan. Tadqiqot muallifning «Oʻzbekistonda turizm qishloqlarini rivojlantirishning metodologik asoslarini takomillashtirish» mavzusidagi doktorlik (DSc) dissertatsiyasida ishlab chiqilgan Turizm qishlogʻining integrallashgan baholash indeksi (TQIBI) va Raqamli tayyorgarlik indeksi (RTI) metodologiyasiga tayanadi va uni ekologik madaniyat oʻlchami bilan boyitadi. Oltita qishloqda 150 nafar respondent (mahalliy aholi va turistlar) ishtirokida oʻtkazilgan soʻrovnoma asosida ishlab chiqilgan Ekologik madaniyat indeksi (EMI) bilan TQIBI oʻrtasida izchil moslik aniqlandi: TQIBI yuqori boʻlgan Qasri Orifon (4,31) va Shirin (4,25) qishloqlarida EMI mos ravishda 0,71 va 0,66 ni tashkil etsa, TQIBI past boʻlgan Afshona (2,53) va Xoʻja Orif (2,80)da EMI 0,41–0,45 oraligʻida qoldi. Shuningdek, aholining 72 foizi ekoturizm tashabbuslarida ishtirok etishga tayyor boʻlsa-da, 45 foizi yetarli ekologik bilimga ega emasligi aniqlandi. Maqolada Buxoro viloyati boʻyicha 2015–2024 yillar davomida 11 ta tuman kesimida shakllangan panel maʼlumotlar asosidagi ekonometrik natijalar (qishloq aholisi ulushi va aholi boshiga investitsiyalar omillarining statistik ahamiyatliligi) EMI bilan bogʻliq xulosalarni qoʻllab-quvvatlaydi. Maqola yakunida EMIni «Buxoro turizm qishlogʻi koridori» klaster modeli va Raqamli-operatsion signal indeksi (DSI) monitoring tizimiga integratsiyalash boʻyicha amaliy tavsiyalar ishlab chiqilgan.
