This article presents opinions and discusses issues related to the formation and development of the organizational and legal framework of non-profit organizations (NPOs). The author also identifies various organizational and legal forms of NPOs and provides information on the experience of their classification, based mainly on the experience of the CIS countries, and not on the experience of the United States and European countries.
