In the article, the issues related to the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens participating in criminal proceedings, the actions, tasks, and powers of all state bodies and officials performing duties and functions in this regard, and the guarantees of the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens are scientifically analyzed and relevant proposals have been put forward.
