This article examines not only the unique pedagogical aspects of teaching information technology in primary grades, but also highlights the issue of reforming the system of secondary specialized education in Uzbekistan. The main attention is paid to harmonizing the content of education with the modern level of scientific knowledge, increasing the efficiency of educational activities and the conditions for the transition to a digitalization society in primary school. The article also addresses the issue of the social significance of increasing the efficiency of educational work and the introduction of digital technologies in primary grades. A special approach to teaching the subject “Information Technology” in primary school is described, which is relevant in the context of modern requirements and trends in the field of education.
