The article provides information on the factors of development of motivation to achieve success in military athletes. In particular, the internal and external factors in the development of the motivation to achieve success in the personality of the athlete and the features of their interaction are revealed. Also, the role of these factors on the military serviceman's work has been evaluated in detail.
