This article presents works about the history of the reign of the Mangit emirs in Bukhara, written at the end of the 18th – beginning of the 19th centuries. Information from the works “Tuhfai Hani” by Kazi Vafa Karminaghi, “Tajut-tawarikh” by Muhammadsharif ibn Muhammadnaki, chronograms of Mirzo Sadiq Munshi, “Makhozin ut-taqwa” by Mir Hussein ibn Shahmurad (Miriyah), “Zikri tedadi podshakhoni Uzbak” by Muin, “Gulshanul” were analyzed. -Mulk" by Muhammad Yakub and "The History of Khumuli" by Jumakuli Khumuli. The article touches on the analysis of the mentioned works from the point of view of the skill of historical writing, their originality and unique features inherent in each author. This promotes a deep understanding of the cultural and historical context in which the works were created and reflects the importance of literature in preserving and transmitting historical memory.
