In this article, academician S.E.Malov emphasizes that Alisher Navai (1441-1501), like M.V.Lomonosov, who advocated for a single Russian literary language not only with his theoretical works (primarily his Grammar), but also with his poetic compositions, had to pave the way in literature in the 15th century for the Central Asian Turkic, or Chigatai language, which has survived to this day and is now called Uzbek. As a result of the conducted research, the author comes to the conclusion that the merit of Alisher Navai is not limited to the fact that he finally legitimized the use of the Central Asian Turkic language in literature instead of Persian, that the resonance from Navai was even greater: thanks to his works, the process of the predominance of the language - "y" over the "d"-language was significantly accelerated and the Turkic "y"-language was greatly strengthened in literature throughout Chinese Turkistan, as well as in other Turkestans; Navai is not only the founder of the Uzbek literary language ("y" language), along with this, he was also among the causes, or factors, that transformed the Turkic "d"-language in Central Asia.
