In order to bring to a new level of protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of persons sentenced to punishments not related to deprivation of liberty, over the past period, the Probation Service and its territorial divisions were created as a part of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its territorial divisions.This article describes the basics, concepts, goals and objectives of the Probation Service. It also analyzes foreign experience with the allocation of historical data.
