The study of the load-bearing capacity of bridge structures and determination of the permissible temporary load on superstructures is one of the main tasks of bridge construction. The complexity of this task is explained by the variety of designs of beams and pavement layers on the bridge deck and the conditions for installing heavy loads on the bridge. In this paper, the problem of calculating the load-bearing capacity of a reinforced concrete single-span bridge is considered. The coefficients of transverse installation (KPU) are determined for the load as the sum of the ordinates of the line of influence of pressure under the centers of gravity of transport units. When loading the line of influence, the load is installed in the safest position, taking into account the dimensions of the passage and the rules for the placement of vehicle axles.
