This article is dedicated to increasing transparency and ensuring the competitiveness of public procurement in higher education institutions. The study analyzes opportunities for digitalizing public procurement, increasing transparency through electronic procurement systems, and combating corruption. It also explores ways to improve the efficiency of public procurement in Uzbekistan by utilizing international experience. Based on the advanced practices of countries like South Korea and Brazil, the article examines the potential for achieving economic efficiency by expanding electronic procurement systems and ensuring transparency in Uzbekistan's higher education institutions. The article provides recommendations for introducing technological innovations and expanding competitive tenders to enhance the efficiency of public procurement.
