This article considers the identification of various phobias (fears) related to physical fitness and psyche of train makers when assessing their professional fitness. In Uzbekistan, special tests "Alpomish" and "Barchinoy", which determine the level of physical fitness and health of the population, are adopted and conducted in accordance with the regulations on the order of competitions. It is reasonable to use the conditions of these tests in assessing the professional fitness of train makers. On their basis, an analysis of the age composition of train makers at railway stations was carried out to develop a methodology for assessing the professional suitability of train makers. Determining these mandatory tests when hiring train makers in terms of physical fitness and health, as well as periodic tests during the internship will serve to prevent and eliminate various accidents related to the quality of their traffic.
