The article presents feasibility studies of the use of basalt reinforcement in structural elements of bridge structures. We know that currently there are cases when reinforced concrete becomes expensive from an economic point of view for the production of structural elements. In bridge construction, one of the first places in terms of use, among other materials, is reinforced concrete. It is connected with such advantages of reinforced concrete, good resistance to dynamic influences, the ability to erect structures of almost any shape, the possibility of using local materials in large volumes, and so on. Consequently, given the low production of metals in our country and the lack of improvements in the processing process, metals are mainly imported to us from foreign countries, which, in turn, indicates the economic value of the metal. Currently, reinforced concrete products are manufactured at the production facilities in our state, processing them into basalt materials and adding them to concrete. In bridge structures, we can use basalt reinforcement on intermediate supports. Because the supports mainly work for compression and at the same time can work on a par with steel reinforcement, taking a falling load. The cheapness of basalt reinforcement is that basalt materials can be obtained and processed by ourselves, and at the same time have a sufficient supply of basalt material.
