Using 2011–2025 data, the article analyzes the relationship between agricultural growth and environmental pressure in Surkhandarya region by means of the decoupling factor and Environmental Kuznets Curve models. Agricultural output increased 15.4 times and harmful emissions 3.4 times; the decoupling factor equals 0.78 for the whole period but fell to 0.31 in 2019–2025. The linear model yields R² = 0.865, while second- and third-order polynomials give no statistically significant improvement. Priority directions for regional programs, including eco-friendly agro-technologies and green investment, are proposed
