Artificial intelligence-based career guidance systems: international experience and opportunities for Uzbekistan

Annotatsiya

This article examines international experience with AI-based career guidance systems and assesses the conditions for introducing them in Uzbekistan’s education system. Using a qualitative comparative design, it compares the platforms of the United States, South Korea, Singapore and Germany against five criteria and rates Uzbekistan on the same basis. The results show that success depends more on data quality, links to study and job opportunities, and human counsellors than on algorithmic sophistication. The article proposes a three-stage single-platform model that turns a student’s portfolio into occupation match percentages and direct applications
