Acute obstructive bronchitis remains one of the most common and severe diseases of the respiratory system in children. Understanding the pathogenetic role of the immune status, cytokines can contribute to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of disease development in AOD, to develop effective strategies for diagnosing and treating the disease in FIC. The main direction of scientific research is the study of the mechanisms of development, the establishment of the features of the clinical course, the assessment of the role of the immune status, cytokines in acute obstructive bronchitis in frequently ill children, to develop pathogenetic methods of treatment and preventive measures. In our country, large-scale measures are being taken for the early diagnosis and prevention of somatic diseases among children, especially bronchopulmonary pathology.
