The article presents the results of a study of Paleogene deposits of the Fergana depression. The Eocene deposits of the Shorsuvand Varzyk sections, revealing strata that accumulated in various zones of the paleobasin, were studied; ostracod remains werefound in the section and organic characteristics for them were given.
