Improving the capacity for cooperative development of population structure and regional economy is a central issue to promotehigh-quality development of new-type urbanization in the new development period. In order to continuously improve thecooperative and sustainable development of Inner Mongolia’s population structure and regional economy, coordinateddevelopment of urban and rural areas has been proposed to accelerate the process of population urbanization.
