Taushan, Yangikazgan, Aktosti-Kyrkcherta and a number of other gold mining sites are located in the Kulzhuktau mountains inthe south of the Central Kyzylkum. The main ore-bearing rocks of these objects are the rocks of the Taushan suite of theCarboniferous period. It is important to study in detail the rocks of the Taushan Formation, to divide them into lithological types,to determine the characteristics and factors of ore formation.
