Annotatsiya

This article examines modern scientific approaches to the classification of counterattack techniques in Taekwondo WT. The purpose of the study is to identify the main scientific criteria for classifying counterattack techniques in competitive taekwondo and to comparatively analyse the approaches of foreign and local scholars. Research methods: scientific literature analysis, competitive statistics review, comparative analysis. The results showed that counterattack technique is classified by execution time, method and biomechanical structure; elite athletes score 35–45% (subject to source verification) of their winning points through counterattack. Conclusion: a scientifically grounded teaching methodology that accounts for the three-dimensional classification is needed.
