This article examines the current legal framework governing coaching activities in Uzbekistan, including the legal status of coaches, qualification requirements, and the role of qualification certificates. The analysis is based on Law No. O‘RQ-1123 of 24 March 2026, Cabinet of Ministers Resolutions No. 355 of 4 July 2022 and No. 496 of 5 August 2025, and the Regulation on Coaching Activities. Using doctrinal legal and systematic analysis, the article clarifies the relationship between continuing professional development and the legal requirements for coaching. It also discusses coaches’ rights and duties, training safety, and ongoing professional development. The findings offer practical guidance for consistent implementation of legal requirements and improved legal awareness among coaches.
