This article analyzes the history of the formation of the Turkic Khaganate-a large empire that marked a turning point in the history of statehood in early medieval Central Asia and examines its political, social, and geopolitical foundations. Based on a comparative analysis of historical and scholarly sources, the work examines the rise of the Ashina clan, the struggle for liberation from Rouran (Roujan) rule, and the process of establishing an independent state under the leadership of Bumin Khagan in 552. Furthermore, the article examines the governance system of the newly formed state, its allied relations with neighboring Chinese dynasties, and the foreign policy factors that contributed to the empire's formation.
