This article analyzes the types of deviant behavior found among students in higher education institutions and the possibilities of theirpedagogical correction. The purpose of the research is to determine the effectiveness of pedagogical technologies adapted to the highereducation environment in mitigating deviant behavior. The study applied methods of pedagogical experiment, questionnaires, andobservation. The results showed that in groups where an approach based on individualized educational technologies, trainings, andcooperation between academic advisors and psychologists was applied, indicators of deviant behavior decreased markedly. Practicalrecommendations are provided at the end of the article.
