The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly influenced the formation and dissemination of informationtechnology (IT) terminology. In contemporary digital communication, technological concepts are represented through theinteraction of linguistic and visual resources, which makes the study of semantic transformation and multimodal representationparticularly relevant. This study investigates the semantic transformation and multimodal representation of IT terms in English andUzbek. The research is based on a corpus of frequently used IT terms collected from digital platforms, online dictionaries, andtechnological interfaces. Comparative, semantic, contextual, and multimodal discourse analysis methods were employed to identifythe major patterns of semantic adaptation and representation. The study contributes to the fields of terminology, digital linguistics,and multimodal discourse studies by providing insights into the linguistic and cognitive mechanisms underlying the adaptation oftechnological vocabulary
