The paper presents the results of an assessment of vertical profiles of wind velocity and water amount in the atmosphere over the Maidanak Astronomical Observatory. The height distributions of the meteorological quantities were obtained using geographic and altitude interpolation of aerological meteorological data of six surrounding stations of neighboring countries. The resulting profiles will be helpful in study of influence of the atmosphere to the quality of astronomical observations during different seasons as well as in determining of optimal para[1]meters of adaptive optics of a future telescope.
