Improving the special physical training of female boxers based on the scientific-pedagogical principles of comprehensive training

This article examines the improvement of special physical training among female boxers preparing for the Uzbekistan national boxing team. The study was based on a pedagogical experiment involving 12 female boxers and a signal-based punching test conducted before and after the experimental training period. A special training plan was developed with consideration of individual characteristics, functional condition, competition requirements, and the differentiated use of general and special training means. The assessment focused on PDLT, PDHT, and APD together with the development of strength, speed, agility, flexibility, endurance, and coordination. Training content included general and special physical preparation, technical and tactical work, coordination exercises, game-based training, control tests, and recovery procedures. Descriptive comparison of the pre- and post-experiment results showed positive dynamics: mean PDLT decreased from 67.26 to 56.07, mean PDHT increased from 184.53 to 239.93, and mean APD increased from 77.08% to 87.22%. Seven athletes reached 90.00% punch accuracy after the experiment. The obtained results indicate that a systematically organized and individually oriented training process can improve the special physical fitness of highly qualified female boxers and support more targeted preparation for competition.
