Introduction. The rapid development of the global tourism industry has significantly increased the importance of human-centered service professions, among which tour guiding occupies a unique position. Tour guides act as intermediaries between tourists and the cultural, historical, and social environment of the destination. Their professional responsibilities extend beyond providing factual information, encompassing the management of interpersonal relationships, the facilitation of intercultural communication, and the maintenance of positive group dynamics throughout the travel experience. Consequently, the psychological well-being of tour guides has become an important factor influencing both service quality and tourist satisfaction [1]. Unlike many other service occupations, tour guiding requires continuous face-to-face interaction with diverse groups of people under constantly changing conditions. Tour guides frequently communicate with tourists representing different nationalities, languages, cultural traditions, age groups, and personal expectations. Simultaneously, they must respond to unexpected situations such as transportation delays, itinerary modifications, adverse weather conditions, misunderstandings, medical emergencies, or interpersonal conflicts within tourist groups. These professional demands create a communication-intensive working environment in which psychological pressure becomes an inevitable component of daily occupational activities [2].
