Introduction. The digitalization of global higher education has accelerated at an unprecedented pace, transforming the delivery of academic instruction from localized physical classrooms to cloud-based virtual learning environments. At the core of this transformation is the Learning Management System -a comprehensive software application engineered to plan, implement, assess, and document specific learning processes. Platforms such as Canvas, Moodle, and Blackboard are no longer treated as simple electronic repositories for uploading syllabi and lecture slides; instead, they have become the fundamental pedagogical space where contemporary university education takes place.[1] The educational significance of LMS architecture lies in its ability to centralize complex pedagogical dimensions into a unified interface. In fully online and hybrid learning environments, the LMS serves as the operational backbone, connecting asynchronous collaborative spaces such as discussion boards and peer-review modules to synchronous virtual classrooms. It also integrates real-time learning analytics and automated assessment matrices. By restructuring how instructional content is consumed and evaluated, these systems challenge traditional concepts of classroom space and time. They provide students with flexible, anytime-anywhere access to educational resources, while offering institutions scalable tools to monitor academic progress and maintain quality control.
