This article highlights the rare artistic practice of a Uyghur doira master from Xinjiang, China and the founder of doira performance art in Uzbekistan, Olim Kamilov, as a representative of exceptional artistic tradition, discussing his life, creative work, scientific and practical legacy, and his contribution to the development of his era. Important issues are revealed regarding his place in traditional art, how he preserved its vitality during the modernization process, and his contribution to its development. The article reflects on the fact that Usta Olim Kamilov was the first to systematically organize the core rhythmic patterns used in various dances of Uzbekistan, and that Abliz Ahchi systematically collected, organized, and scientifically synthesized the traditional doira playing techniques and rhythmic types that had been scattered throughout Chinese folk music. This serves the purpose of understanding the mechanisms of development in the early 20th century, making broad use of the theoretical and practical foundations needed for the work of subsequent generations, fostering independent thinking, and building a perfected future pedagogy rooted in tradition.
