This article analyzes performance styles in maqom instrumental ensembles and their distinctive features. It examines the functional roles of instruments within the ensemble, the musical coordination among performers, and stylistic approaches in performance practice. Special attention is given to the relationship between traditional and modern teaching methods, existing pedagogical challenges, and possible solutions. The study highlights the importance of integrated and innovative approaches in the development of performance skills. Traditional ensemble performance is of particular importance in the national musical heritage. This type of performance is not only a form of musical expression, but also a vivid example of the inner spiritual world, aesthetic taste and artistic thinking of the people. Through ensemble performance, the harmony of various musical instruments, musical dialogue between performers and artistic integrity are manifested. From this point of view, traditional ensemble performance serves as an important tool for a deep understanding of national culture, the preservation of historical values, and the spiritual upbringing of the younger generation.
