In modern anesthesiology, the dosage of anesthetic agents is determined based on the patient's age, weight, and comorbidities. However, the significant impact of the body's daily physiological rhythm—the biological clock—on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of anesthetic drugs is often overlooked in clinical practice. The purpose of this article is to scientifically substantiate this correlation and evaluate the clinical prospects of individualized dosing.
