Over the past decade, there has been a notable increase in both the frequency and severity of dental, jaw, and related injuries. Dental trauma refers to mechanical impacts that disrupt the anatomical integrity of the tooth and surrounding tissues or alter the tooth's position within the dental cavity [16, 49]. Based on the mechanism of action, dental trauma can be classified as acute—resulting from a single, sudden impact—or chronic, caused by prolonged exposure to mechanical stress. According to the World Health Organization, 16-40% of children aged 6-12 years have experienced acute dental trauma. Notably, 25-30% of these injuries occur in school settings.
