The results of examination and treatment of 121 patients with ventral hernias and abdominoptosis who underwent surgical treatment are presented. In patients with abdominal hernias and abdominoptosis, adequate preoperative preparation and the use of the recommended algorithm for choosing the method of hernia and alloplasty made it possible to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications from 14.8% to 8.9% (p = 0.045), as well as wound complications from 11.5% allowed to reduce from 4.5%.
