Gunshot wounds of the chest are characterized by the severity of injuries and high mortality, which requires the provision of surgical care as soon as possible. In modern local conflicts proceeding with significantdestruction of urban infrastructure, an important place in the delivery of the wounded to the stage ofhospital care is occupied by air transport. To date, there are no uniform generally accepted criteria forassessing the transportability of the wounded by air.
