Sarı Saltuk, a dervish who lived in the 13th century, and Ibn Battuta, a traveler who lived in the 14th century, were born in relatively close centuries. Another common feature of both is that they dared to move away from the comfort of their lives, leaving behind deep memories that would remain for themselves and future generations. Each work formed by these memories contains influences from its renewer. In travelogue-style works, the potential for the author's decisions at each step to lead to different outcomes makes these works more unique and original. In this context, one of the two travelers who are the subject of the study is Ibn Battuta, who was born in the Arab geography and reached almost everywhere from east to west. The other is Sarı Saltuk, who was born in Anatolia but surpassed this geography with the traces he left behind, is said to have been blessed with miracles, and is known for his scholarly depth as well as his bravery. In this study, the two figures mentioned are considered as travelers who set out with different geographies and scholarly accumulations, and it is aimed to focus on the different and parallel points in their lives and works. The article proceeds with the literature review method. Analyses were made on Seyahatnâme and Saltuk-nâme, the two works that provide detailed observation of Ibn Battuta's travels and the impact of Sarı Saltuk's traces on geographies. As a result of the study, it was concluded that although Sarı Saltuk and Ibn Battuta have different methods and styles, they are known by the people in similar geographies and cause projections.
