Annotatsiya

Relevance. Approximately 50% of children with cerebral palsy (CP) have vision problems manifested by strabismus, impaired eye movement, refractive abnormalities, development of nystagmus and partial optic atrophy. The purpose of the study. To describe a clinical case of divergent non-accommodative strabismus with an angle of 45° in a patient with cerebral palsy. Materials and methods. Correction of this type of strabismus: recession of the lateral rectus muscles and resection of the internal rectus muscles of both eyes. Results and conclusion. Orthotropia with full binocular vision was achieved. This method of surgical treatment of strabismus allows for maximum rehabilitation of patients with cerebral palsy.
