Relevance. Optic neuropathy is a group of intensively developing degenerative diseases with dysfunction of the optic nerve, diagnosed late, ending in many cases with atrophy due to treatment failure. The purpose of this study. To determine the clinical signs characteristic of optic neuropathy in patients with discirculatory encephalopathy. Materials and methods. During 2022, in the Department of Neurosurgery of the SCCH, 50 patients (100 eyes) with neuro‑ ophthalmic symptoms diagnosed with dyscirculatory encephalopathy and dyscirculatory encephalopathy in combination with other brain diseases were divided into 2 groups according to the diagnosis in equal numbers. All patients underwent measurement of visual acuity and computerized perimetry. The average duration of hospital treatment was 12±3 days. Results. Recovery of visual acuity in the II main group was 1.3 times higher than in the I group. However, the narrowing of the visual fields in these patients during computer perimetry remained significantly unchanged. In the first period, the sensitivity of the retina in group I averaged 19.4 ±2.4 dB, in group II — 15.7 ± 3.9 dB. At the end of treatment, the results were 21.3±1.8 dB, 17.4±5.2 dB, which corresponds to the above indicators. The increase in the visual field in group I was 1.32 times, in group II — 1.11 times. Conclusions. Once again, the importance of kinetic computer perimetry in the early detection of ophthalmopathological clinical signs before the absence of obvious changes in the brain with neuroimaging research methods has been proven.
