Diabetik retinopatiya (DR) qandli diabet (QD) bemorlarda ko‘rish o‘tkirligi (KO‘)ni pasaytirib ko‘rlikka olib kelishi mumkin bo‘lgan asorat bo‘lib, vaqtida aniqlanmasligi va o‘tkaziladigan davolash muolajalarini kechiktirilishi ijobiy natijalar ko‘rsatikichlarini pasaytiradi. Bemorlarda o‘tkaziladigan skrining tekshiruvlar (ST) kasallikning klinik belgilarini namoyon qilmaydigan dastlabki degenrativ o‘zgarishlarni aniqlashda va uni patologik maydonini chegaralashda muxim axamiyatni kasb etadi.
