This study investigates the synthesis of mesoporous silica (SBA-15) using a natural surfactant, Geranyl acetate saponin, and its application as an organo–inorganic hybrid supercapacitor material after modification with Polyaniline (PANI). Tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) was used as the silica precursor, while the natural saponin served as a template for constructing an ordered mesoporous structure. The synthesized mesoporous silica exhibited a high specific surface area of 800–1100 m2/g and an average pore diameter of 5–9 nm. Through in-situ oxidative polymerization, PANI was successfully immobilized inside the mesoporous channels, forming a highly electroactive hybrid composite. Structural and morphological analyses by SEM, TEM, FTIR, and AFM confirmed the successful incorporation of PANI and the formation of a well-developed nanoarchitecture. Electrochemical studies revealed a maximum specific capacitance of 855 F/g, an energy density of 23.8 Wh/kg, and a power density of 7.4 kW/kg. The composite retained 88.5% of its initial capacitance after 5000 charge–discharge cycles, demonstrating excellent cyclic stability.
