NUMERICAL STUDY OF A NONLINEAR DIFFUSION SYSTEM WITH BOUNDARY FLUXES

Annotatsiya

This paper considers a system of nonlinear diffusion-reaction equations with nonlinear boundary flows in a half-space. The focus is on the problem formulation, determination of a weak solution, and derivation of an energy estimate and a blow-up criterion. Self-similar solutions are constructed for the system, and numerical simulations are performed in 1D using an implicit scheme. The results demonstrate the development of solution peaks and the possible blow-up moment, as confirmed by 3D field evolution plots.
