In this work, the elemental composition and vibrational properties of the multicomponent crystal Fe5Ga6Gd2YZr were investigated using X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) and Raman spectroscopy. The XRF results enabled the identification of the main elements present in the sample and their relative proportions. Raman spectroscopy was used to analyse the interatomic vibrations in the crystal lattice, identifying phonon modes associated with heavy atoms in the low-frequency region and vibrations corresponding to the Fe–Ga and Fe–Zr bonds in the medium-frequency range. The results obtained indicate that the Fe5Ga6Gd2YZr crystal possesses complex vibrational dynamics, allowing it to be evaluated as a multicomponent material with functional properties.
