This article comprehensively examines the strategic directions for improving the mechanism ofensuring economic sustainability in the telecommunications sector of Uzbekistan. The study considers high capitalintensity, technological volatility, and the increasing competitive environment as the main factors influencing economicsustainability. Based on statistical data, graphical analysis, and econometric modeling, a strong positive relationship wasidentified between the sector’s share in GDP, infrastructure development, and investments. The regression model resultsconfirm that the volume of investments and the expansion of fiber-optic networks are significant determinants of economicsustainability. As a result of the study, a comprehensive mechanism based on institutional stability, investment continuity,technological modernization, and effective corporate governance was proposed. This approach contributes to enhancingthe long-term competitiveness of telecommunications enterprises and ensuring their economic efficiency.
