Annotatsiya

This study evaluates the clinical, functional, and microcirculatory effectiveness of two-step adhesive splinting in patients with chronic generalized periodontitis (CGP). A total of 235 participants were included: 135 patients with CGP and 100 healthy controls. Along with clinical examination, instrumental diagnostic techniques such as Periotest, T-Scan, and laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) were applied. The results demonstrated that two-step splinting significantly reduces pathological tooth mobility, normalizes occlusal timing, and improves microcirculation, bringing LDF parameters closer to those of the control group. Compared with single-stage splinting or treatment without splinting, the two-step method provided more stable long-term clinical outcomes. Two-step adhesive splinting can be recommended as the most effective approach for restoring functional stability in CGP patients.
