The article focuses on the current classification of CHF by left ventricular ejection fraction (HFrEF, HFmrEF, HFpEF) and NYHA functional classes. Current approaches to diagnostics, including the use of biomarkers and imaging methods, are covered. Current drug treatment strategies, including the use of RAAS inhibitors, beta-blockers, aldosterone antagonists, and SGLT2 inhibitors, are considered in detail. New areas of therapy and five-year mortality data are also presented. The article includes tables and diagrams illustrating the epidemiological and clinical aspects of CHF. The review emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary approach and further research in the field of personalized therapy.
